A post-production stage that consists in assembling, cleaning, and synchronizing the sound elements of a multimedia project. This includes voices, music, sound effects or environments, with volume management, cuts, fades and treatments (compression, equalization...).

Use case: For a product video broadcast on social networks, audio editing allowed the narration to be paced with dynamic sound effects and background music in perfect sync with the visual animations.
