Paper weight expressed in grams per square meter (g/m²). It determines the thickness, stiffness and tactile rendering of the support. A higher grammage corresponds to denser paper, which is often perceived as more qualitative. The choice of weight depends on the final use: reading, manipulation, visual perception.
Use cases : For a press kit, 135 g matt coated paper was chosen for the inside pages (good grip, without being too rigid), while a 350 g cover allowed for a more rigid finish of the document.
