Mechanical cutting of a printed support using a paper cutter, in order to obtain a precise format. This operation generally takes place after printing and precedes shaping. Trimming must be accurately calibrated to avoid offsets or cutting off active areas.
Use case: A series of A5 flyers was cut from sheets printed in SRA3. Trimming made it possible to refocus each visual with precision, while respecting the safety margins provided for in the design.
